Salt Magazine: Give It To Us

Contributors retain copyright over their work. We pay only in hypothetical dollars. Send all submissions to us here. (That's saltmagazine at g mail)
And please make sure you've got the right subject line.
We're always looking for good artwork, photography, music, audio and short video. If what you're sending has graphics, make sure they're no more than 600 pixels across, in jpg format. Music should be mp3 or real audio. Use the subject lines "Visual," "Audio" and "Video," respectively.
We also want non-fiction. This can be in the form of personal essays, (subject line: essay), dispatches about interesting experiences you've had (subject line: dispatch) or reviews (subject line: review), the less timely, the better. If you've got ideas that don't fit these categories, send them our way, too (subject line: idea!).
Salt is also currently looking for columnists and regular contributors to the magazine. Got an idea for a column? Send it to us, subject line, "Would-be Columnist."
We're doing a series of email interviews with creative professionals about how they got where they are, and what advice they have for others. If you're interested in conducting an interview, or have ideas of people whom we could feature, tell us (subject line: interview).
Have an event you want listed in our calendar? Go to "Stuff You Should Do" and click on "Suggest an Event" (no more online poker tournamentsm, please. We've already lost too much cash).
A friend once said to Gene, "I know people who procrastinate more, but I don't know anyone who procrastinates better." Have an idea for procrastinators' toolbox? Waste some time with a detailed explanation, subject line, "procrastinators."
